New Horn Glyph Added to Fox's Site

This is the original horn

This is the horn when the mouse hovers over the image. The characteristic fibonacci spiral is displayed along with some calculations that are hard to make out. By clicking on the horn you are taken to the ARG site which shows a video concerning sheep in an odd formation. I linked the site to this graphic as well if you would like to see the video.

New change to the Imagine the Possibilities website.

There is a video talking about a rare formation of sheep in Iowa. When it talks about this, the video shows a ram's horn. There were also reports of 10 more formations in the area.

Explore the Impossibilities

The new website for the ARG is up and running. There is a preview and then 3 images at the bottom. If you click on the leaf, then you can sign up for the ARG. It will automatically allow you to enter the sweepstakes. If not, click on the apple and you will be brought to the sweepstakes page.

The sweepstakes is a chance to attend the Fringe Premiere party in New York. That would be an awesome prize.

If you click on the frog then you get redirected to Fox's Fringe site. Not too much right now but, after you register and give them your email address, you are informed that you will receive your first email clue on Saturday, July 26 at 6:00pm PST. That means that the first email will be coming right during Comic Con in San Diego. You know everyone will be scrambling to check their emails.

Fringe will at Comic Con

Looks like Fringe is going to be around Comic Con. Maybe they will air the pilot? Who knows, either way it's a good thing. Saturday, July 26, 4:45pm - 5:45pm. Just enough time to introduce the pilot and take a few questions! I'm only guessing at the pilot being shown. I know that's how Heroes did it, so it makes since here, too. If not, they may just have a panel of writers, producers, etc. Oh well, I wish I could be there.

New Video Response from Wirelover

Really great work! Keep it up, Wirelover!

Abrams Gets comic book prequel

Abrams' TV 'Fringe' gets comic book prequel

The hip media empire of J.J. Abrams (Alias, Lost, Cloverfield, the next Star Trek film) expands into comic books this fall when DC Comics offers a prequel to his upcoming TV series on Fox, Fringe. Writers and artists are being decided, but DC says the comic version will hit the stands on Aug. 27, two weeks before the two-hour premiere airs on Sept. 9.

Speculation about the show is building at online fan sites amid word that the opener involves paranormal investigators looking into the mysterious landing of a jetliner with dead passengers. Sounds like a certain island, but the producers say the show will feature self-contained stories, à la Twilight Zone or X-Files, rather than one fantastic saga. Abrams is joined as executive producers on the project by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, who also are working on the Star Trek reboot film expected in 2009. David Colton

Review from NY Entertainment

Pilot Preview: J.J. Abrams’s ‘Fringe’ Brings ‘X-Files’ Weirdness Back to Fox

Worth a season pass? Yes. An X-Files with the mythology laid out from the get-go, Fringe promises to ride grody special effects, the chemistry of its oddball trio, and Lance Reddick's basso profundo to the genre promised land. After watching the pilot, we can only say: More, please.

Impressions from Kristen at E Online

Here's a blurp from the press screening. What Is It? FBI Agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) finds herself entangled in an investigation of a series of paranormal crimes and mysteries. Many or all of these happenings appear to be related to the dirty work of an evil genius. To solve these mysteries and crimes, she must work with a similiar genius, only the one on her side (John Noble) is incarcerated, insane and of indeterminate moral orientation. His miscreant adult son (Joshua Jackson) is the only who can, well, "speak Walter," meaning that he is the only one equipped to interpret the man's mad mutterings...

A Description of the New Series Fringe

Straight from Fox.com

From J.J. Abrams ("Lost"), Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, the team behind "Star Trek," "Mission: Impossible III" and "Alias," comes a new drama that will thrill, terrify and explore the blurring line between science fiction and reality.

When an international flight lands at Boston's Logan Airport and the passengers and crew have all died grisly deaths, FBI Special Agent OLIVIA DUNHAM (newcomer Anna Torv) is called in to investigate. After her partner, Special Agent JOHN SCOTT (Mark Valley, "Boston Legal"), is nearly killed during the investigation, a desperate Olivia searches frantically for someone to help, leading her to DR. WALTER BISHOP (John Noble, "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King"), our generation's Einstein. There's only one catch: he's been institutionalized for the last 20 years, and the only way to question him requires pulling his estranged son PETER (Joshua Jackson, "Dawson's Creek") in to help.

When Olivia's investigation leads her to manipulative corporate executive NINA SHARP (Blair Brown, "Altered States"), our unlikely trio along with fellow FBI Agents PHILLIP BROYLES (Lance Reddick, "The Wire"), CHARLIE FRANCIS (Kirk Acevedo, "Oz") and ASTRID FARNSWORTH (Jasika Nicole, "Law & Order: Criminal Intent") will discover that what happened on Flight 627 is only a small piece of a larger, more shocking truth.

FRINGE is directed by Emmy Award-winning Alex Graves ("The West Wing") and produced by Warner Bros. Television and Bad Robot Productions.
